Shelley Lubben is fuckin delusional and hilarious Part 2

Ok, so after a long day of shoveling snow, attending a post xmas/50th b-party for my aunt, and watching some playoff football, I am back to finish my pwnage of Shelley Lubben.

I had left off by posting two links. One was to an article for AVN.com written by Mark Kernes, and the other one was a response by Lubben. I was browsing the AVN web site and I came across Kernes rebuttal of Lubben here. (Careful- there is nudity on the page). Kernes, in my opinion, did a great job rebutting Lubben, so dont have to do as much here. I still want to put my two cents in on Lubben's fucking insanity.

In October, Lubben published a book called Truth Behind the Fantasy of Porn: The Greatest Illusion on Earth. Just last month, she posted a video to YouTube promoting her book. I thought it was hilarious! I showed it to some of my co workers and friends and they thought it was pretty funny too. THATS A BUNCH OF CRAP!!!!!!! Buy my new book.... hilarious!

Well that's all I really have to say for now, but hopefully a couple of my friends that are currently at AEE can tell me all about any shit that went down there. See you next time!

Shelley Lubben is fuckin delusional and hilarious Part 1

Ok so this weekend is the AEE and AVN awards, so I decided to do a lil reserch on one of porns biggest adverseries: Shelley Lubben. Now its my turn to take my shots at Lubben.

I have been trolling Lubben's Facebook and Myspace pages for the last twenty months, and it seems that she gets more and more delusional as time goes by. This past week she posted a a prayer and a list of porn stars to pray for at the porn convention, which I will get to in just a moment. Now before I go farther, let me explain just how I feel about religion. I consider myself a "free thinker" (as opposed to atheist- it unfortunately has so many negative connotations attached to it). I dont necessarily have a problem with religion- hey having faith is OK- but when religion starts to infringe on my rights then I get upset. Lubbens Pink cross fundie orginazation is infringing on my right to watch porn, and many other men AND womens rights too. All I see is God this and Jesus that, and porn is coming down, and porn is "Satan's Playground". Porn shouldn't come down. There should be reforms in the industry that can minimize these "atrocities" that have befallen Lubben and the ten or so people she has "rescued" from porn.

Ok on to this prayer and list of porn stars to pray for. This is the link You read it yet? Sounds lovely doesn't it? Ok now look at that list. Wow. Kayden Kross. Bobbi Starr. Jessica Jaymes. All six of the Wicked Girls. There are a shitload of big names on that list, even though I'm surprised at a couple of "glaring omissions". Kayden Kross' name on that list further shows just how delusional Lubben is. There is no love lost between Kross and Lubben. Here is an example from three years ago.  Basically, it would appear that Lubben is acting like "yeah, you can stand up to me, but since I'm with Jesus, I'm better then you, and only I know what's best for you." Like I said, all six Wicked Girls were on that list. Interesting, since  Wicked Pictures is the only production company that sets a good example by being  condom only AND having the required testing on top of that. They seem to be the best run company in the biz, and have good leadership, and they make great features. One of their top dogs is Joy King, a friend of mine, and shes such a nice person. ( I would love to meet you and your girls eventually, Joy =) LOL).So yes, maybe I am biased towards Wicked, but come on, they seem to be better protected against any assault that Lubben can throw at them.

I decided to dig deeper into Shelley's site, to see if something big had not been discussed by Julie Meadows or any of the other blogs that beat up on Lubben, and I think I might have found something. Before you read that article, I suggest you read this one first.

I've decided to make this a two part post, since it's pretty late and I need to get some rest. Unfortunately we have had a couple of snowfalls in Milwaukee over the last couple of days and I have to shovel nine walks in front of my Mom's rental properties. So when I get back I will finish my smackdown of Lubben. By then I will have some really good arguments against her.

Prohibition: Why don't some people understand that it dosen't work?

I've asked this question many times: Why don't some people understand that prohibition doesn't work? This applies to all things that the conservative right wants to prohibit: prostitution, porn, marijuana and other illegal drugs, abortion, etc. Today I was watching a Youtube video posted by jordanowen42 about why people laugh at the anti porn lobby. The man in the video- Pat Trueman- was urging Attorney General Eric Holder to vigorously prosecute adult pornographers in addition to child pornographers (which Holder has already hired an additional thirty five federal prosecutors to do so).  Jordanowen does a great job deconstructing Trueman's argument, which includes arguments about rebelling against taboos imposed by society (I will try to post a link to his videos- I'm kinda new at this blogging thing so I'll see if i can get it posted). Anyway, at the end of the videos Trueman says that eliminating adult pornography will substantially decrease child pornography via the slippery slope argument.

The Slippery Slope Argument: You would start off by looking at milder forms of porn, and eventually deviate to child pornography or "other deviant material". Basically it's the same as the gateway drug argument.

The problem  with this argument is that Trueman (as well as others that make this claim) is that everyone is different. Just because one person "deviates" into child  pornography, dosent mean everyone that watches porn will. Simple as that.

Getting back to Trueman's final statement about eliminating adult pornography thus decreasing child pornography, we can see that it is a prohibitory statement. Do you really think that eliminating legit pornography is going to solve the problem? Hell No! Just because it would be illegal doesn't mean that it will stop people from making or buying it. It may stop some, sure, but not all. I have also made that argument for abortion, and I'm not for or against abortion.

Bottom line: Prohibition doesn't work! Why cant all the uptight conservatives see that????
